Stéphane Brizé directs this French romantic drama. Bricklayer Jean (Vincent Lindon) is a devoted husband and father with a simple yet contented life. But when he volunteers as a classroom assistant at his young son's school, Jean finds himself inexorably drawn to teacher Véronique Chambon (Sandrine Kiberlain) - and the threads that hold his home and family life together gradually begin to unravel.
