Danish-Icelandic drama written and directed by Hlynur Pálmason. Set in the late 19th century, the film follows Danish priest Lucas (Elliott Crosset Hove) as he travels to Iceland to oversee the construction of a new parish. As he follows his native guide Ragnar (Ingvar E. Sigurdsson) into rural Iceland, Lucas experiences a profound crisis of faith on the arduous journey.
