Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal and Rebecca Ferguson star in this sci-fi thriller directed by Daniel Espinosa. When a crew of astronauts and scientists embark on a journey to the International Space Station, their task is to study a sample of matter taken from Mars and determine whether it can provide proof of the existence of extraterrestrial life. However, when the matter begins to display intelligence far beyond its suspected capabilities, the crew realise that they are in danger - and so is all of Earth. The cast also includes Olga Dihovichnaya, Ariyon Bakare and Hiroyuki Sanada.
