Amane Morikawa arrives at the bookshop she's inherited from her grandfather in Onomichi, only to find a dusty space with empty bookshelves - and a group of characterful cats who've made it their home. Comforted by her new feline friends, Amane begins to connect with the people around her. A clockmaker who tends to the cats. A photographer. A record shop owner. Each meeting drawing her closer to a new purpose: reopening the bookshop. But the shop needs more than repairs. Can the cats, mysterious guardians of the bookshop, lead Amane to the missing piece that will bring it back to life?
