Thomasin McKenzie, Ben Radcliffe and Damian Lewis star in this historical parody directed by Jim O'Hanlan. Fackham Hall has been in the Davenport family for generations but Lord Davenport (Lewis) has no male heir. To keep the estate in the family, his daughter Poppy (Emma Laird) is due to marry her cousin Archibald (Tom Felton). When she flees the church during the wedding, Lady Davenport (Katherine Waterston) hopes that their daughter Rose (McKenzie) will marry Archibald instead but she has fallen for Eric (Radcliffe), the new hall boy. When Lord Davenport is killed in the aftermath of the failed wedding, Inspector Watt (Tom Goodman-Hill) arrives to investigate and long-held family secrets are revealed which will determine the future of Fackham Hall. The cast also includes Anna Maxwell Martin, Jimmy Carr and Sue Johnston.
