A string of murders have been happening across Cork city. Podcasts talk of ghost house parties and dismembered janitors, of dead diner owners and folkloric entities. None of this is going to deter April from spending a weekend away with one of the hottest boys she has ever met. University is starting soon and Carl is the perfect pre-uni experience to talk about at freshers week and miles away from her regular weekends spent watching old horror reruns and reading creepy classics.
